The Philanthropy Roundtable is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and contributions are fully tax-deductible under the law. Our EIN # is 13-2943020 and we have the coveted four-star rating on Charity Navigator.
You do not need to qualify for membership to financially support our principles, programs, or this website project. You will receive a tax receipt for your contribution of any amount.
For the past 25 years, the Roundtable has been serving the philanthropic community by helping donors achieve real results with their giving. Our goal is always to inspire and support philanthropists with the most relevant, educational, and practical resources available.
The Roundtable’s website was last renovated in 2011, and both web-based technology and the organization’s programmatic offerings have changed considerably since then. While we have received feedback from donors that the quality of the content on our current site is top-notch, the website’s look and functionality do not sufficiently reflect who we are and the broad services we provide to philanthropists in their work.
In order to expand and upgrade our resources and content for an early 2018 unveiling, our online presence will be going under construction, and we need your help with the transformation.
When fully funded, philanthropists will arrive onsite and be able to:
This new resource will become a digital arena where philanthropists can answer their most important questions, better connect with other donors, and find guidance in examples of excellence in philanthropy. Topics that we will expand upon include advice on crafting and achieving your philanthropic goals; guidance on donor intent when drafting mission statements and board documents; and the tough questions to ask before making major investments.
Making these changes will ensure our benefits are more readily accessible and our staff is even more prepared to provide world-class service to go along with our industry-leading programs, publications, and conferences. There won’t be another electronic philanthropic resource out there like it.
The Philanthropy Roundtable is America’s leading network of charitable donors working to strengthen our free society, uphold donor intent, and protect the freedom to give. Our members include individual philanthropists, families, and private foundations.
The Roundtable’s mission is to foster excellence in philanthropy, to protect philanthropic freedom, to assist donors in achieving their philanthropic intent, and to help donors advance liberty, opportunity, and personal responsibility in America and abroad.
