Betsy Morris

Betsy Morris is an award-winning journalist and magazine writer. As senior editor at Fortune, Ms. Morris wrote two dozen cover stories that defined the times, defined trends, and captured the successful and powerful including Steve Jobs, Richard Branson, Bill Ford Jr., and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Her stories explored the fault lines between business and society, behavior and economics, and the changes wrought by tech, biotech and women (and men) in business. Ms. Morris has also written for the cover of Bloomberg BusinessWeek and the launch edition of Portfolio. She is currently writing a book on successful people with dyslexia. Prior to joining Fortune, Ms. Morris spent 14 years at the Wall Street Journal as a reporter and Atlanta bureau chief. She has won Time Inc.’s Henry R. Luce Award for public service and World Leadership Forum’s Business Journalist of the Year Award. Her stories have been twice nominated for the National Magazine Award and featured on the Today Show, Good Morning America, the Charlie Rose Show, CNN, CNBC, and MSNBC. She has a B.A. from Stanford University and an M.S. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
