Timothy R. Busch
Founder, Busch Firm
Timothy R. Busch is the founder of the Busch Firm. An estate and tax planning attorney and certified public accountant with more than 30 years’ experience, Mr. Busch’s practice focuses on advising high-net-worth families and their businesses on multi-generational wealth transfers, business succession planning, asset protection, family philanthropy, complex business transactions, real estate transactions and financing, and corporate governance. He has assisted clients in transferring more than $500 million of wealth to charity during his career. He also has extensive experience counseling religious organizations—such as schools, foundations, and church institutions—on business, corporate structure, and tax-exempt matters. Mr. Busch founded and leads many companies, including Pacific Hospitality Group, a hotel management firm; Busch’s, a specialty grocery store chain in Michigan; and Trinitas Cellars, a boutique Napa Valley winery. With his wife, Steph, he is heavily involved in Catholic organizations and charities, including co-founding JSerra Catholic School and St. Anne School in Orange County. Mr. Busch also serves on various boards, including those of Catholic University of America, the Papal Foundation, Legatus, the Napa Institute, the Magis Institute, and the Institute for Church Life at the University of Notre Dame.
