Director of Communications
Marques Chavez joined The Philanthropy Roundtable as director of communications in June 2013.
Prior to that Marques supported agencies of the Department of Defense and the Department of Justice as a public affairs specialist for a government contracting firm in Fairfax, Virginia. He has also worked for U.S. Sen. Mike Crapo as deputy communications director and director of new media. In 2010, he served as communications manager for Mike Crapo’s campaign for re-election to the U.S. Senate.
Marques received a B.S. in journalism and communication with a minor in political science from Utah State University and an M.A. in communication and leadership from Gonzaga University.
