Annie Dwyer Dunn is the interim vice president of marketing and communications at The Philanthropy Roundtable. Prior to joining the Roundtable in November 2020, Annie was the director of the Civil Society Fellows Program and strategic communications advisor at the Manhattan Institute in New York City. For more than a decade, Dunn has helped policy experts, government officials, and community organizations improve their communications capabilities. Previously, she was vice president of communications at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, served as the communications director for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, and worked in media relations at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Annie graduated from Kansas State University with degrees in political science and journalism. She lives with her husband, Tom, in Arlington, Virginia.
