Annie Dwyer Dunn is the vice president of strategic initiatives and content at Philanthropy Roundtable. Prior to joining the Roundtable, Annie was the director of the Civil Society Fellows Program and strategic communications advisor at the Manhattan Institute in New York City, where she also oversaw the execution of the organization’s Civil Society Awards Program.

Annie has helped policy experts, government officials and community organizations improve their communications capabilities for more than a decade. She specializes in media relations, public affairs and crisis and risk management.

Previously, Annie was vice president of communications at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, served as the communications director for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and worked in media relations at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Annie graduated from Kansas State University with bachelor’s degrees in political science and journalism.
