Brian Hawkins is the director of external relations and has been with the Roundtable since November 2021. Prior to joining Philanthropy Roundtable, Hawkins worked as the director of free speech initiatives at Stand Together Chamber of Commerce, where he led their free speech policy portfolio. In his current role at the Roundtable, he aims to convene diverse partners to accomplish shared objectives around the Roundtable’s vision for philanthropy.
Hawkins is a veteran of the United States Army where he deployed to Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom XIV and served a tour of duty in South Korea. Hawkins earned his Master of Public Administration at George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Azusa Pacific University.
