Angie Lawry joined The Philanthropy Roundtable in 2017 as vice president of marketing and communications. She is responsible for the Roundtable’s integrated communications strategy and marketing the organization’s world-class publications, events and programmatic resources.
Before joining the Roundtable, Angie was the director of marketing/communications at Chief Executives Organization, where she was responsible for marketing CEO’s premier events. Angie’s career began in economic development, where she served as the director of strategic marketing for the Greater Washington Initiative, and as the vice president of community relations for the Charlotte Regional Partnership in North Carolina.
Angie graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an honors degree in behavioral science and received a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she earned the Dean Allen Reep Scholarship for Academic Excellence. She is also a senior fellow of the American Leadership Forum – Charlotte Chapter.
