The Philanthropy Roundtable has recently strengthened its qualified donor attendance policy to better serve our donors. Please carefully review the qualification policy for the event you wish to attend and ensure you are qualified prior to registering.

Annual Meeting Attendance

The Annual Meeting is The Philanthropy Roundtable's premier event for foundation trustees and philanthropic decision makers committed to strengthening our free society and to exploring, collaborating, and solving our nation's greatest problems through meaningful and effective philanthropy. For more than 20 years, donors from across the country have met to share ideas, strategies, and best practices, and hear from America's leading experts in private innovation and forward-thinking policy.

Attendance at our Annual Meeting is limited to individual donors and foundation representatives who make charitable grants and contributions of at least $100,000 a year or who expect to do so in the future. In-kind contributions should not be part of the contribution calculation. Development officers from any qualified organization and/or public charity are ineligible to attend.

Qualified Attendees Include:

  • Individual philanthropists
  • Board and Staff of Private Foundations
  • Board and Staff of Operating Foundations
  • Board and Staff of Corporate Foundations and Corporate Giving Programs
  • CEO, Executive Director or President of Community Foundations
  • CEO, Executive Director or President of Venture Philanthropy Partnerships
  • CEO, Executive Director or President of Donor Advised Funds
  • CEO, Executive Director or President of Regional Grantmaker Associations
  • Donor Advisors may attend with a qualified donor or provide verification of registration on behalf of a qualified donor.
  • CEO, Executive Director of President of qualified public charities. Qualified public charities include those that make grants in excess of one million dollars annually and devote more than half of their operating budget to grants for external activities (excluding scholarships.)

 

Regional Meeting Attendance

The Philanthropy Roundtable's Regional Meetings are open to those who annually distribute, or intend to distribute in the near future, at least $100,000 in charitable donations.

Development officers from any qualified organization and/or public charity are ineligible to attend.

Qualified Attendees Include:

  • Individual Philanthropists
  • Board and Staff of Private Foundations
  • Board and Staff of Operating Foundations
  • Board and Staff of Corporate Foundations and Corporate Giving Programs
  • CEO, Executive Director, President or Program Staff of Community Foundations
  • CEO, Executive Director, President or Program Staff of Regional Grantmaker Associations
  • Donor Advisors who provide verification of their registration on behalf of a qualified donor.
  • CEO, Executive Director, President, or Program Staff of public charities that make grants in excess of one million dollars annually. Qualified public charities include those that devote more than half of their operating budget to grants for external activities (excluding scholarships.)

The Philanthropy Roundtable has a strict non-solicitation policy. We do not condone solicitation of meeting participants before, during, or after any event we host.
