Kristi Baird is assistant superintendent of Catholic schools for the Diocese of Memphis, and has been in education for over 20 years, serving as a teacher, vice principal, principal, and assistant superintendent of Catholic Schools. She was named assistant superintendent of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Memphis in 2013. She has served as the leader of the Jubilee Catholic Schools Network. She began her career in education in the public school system and taught special education at a local private school. She then accepted a third grade teaching position at St. John Catholic School, a Jubilee school in the Orange Mound area of Memphis. She served ten years at St. John as a teacher and administrator. Ms. Baird received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Memphis and her master’s degree in educational leadership from Christian Brothers University.
