Clarice Smith joined the Philanthropy Roundtable in May 2021. Before joining the Roundtable, Clarice was the program manager for public policy and higher education giving at the John William Pope Foundation, a family foundation based out of Raleigh, NC. Prior to the JWPF, she worked in the communications department at the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research, serving as director of media relations. She currently serves on the board of the Network for enlightened Women. Clarice earned a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Trinity College in Hartford, CT. She is the proud mom of two kids and resides in Raleigh with her family.
