Inga Cotton is founder and executive director of San Antonio Charter Moms. As a mom raising two children, Ms. Cotton learned about new charter schools that were coming to San Antonio and started working to spread the word to families, creating the San Antonio Charter Moms blog in April 2012. The blog is now a nonprofit, and Ms. Cotton and her team use the blog, social media, events, and a mobile school-finding app to help families get fair and accurate information about school options. The nonprofit also helps families to become civically engaged and advocate for high quality education. Ms. Cotton earned a bachelor’s degree from Trinity University and a law degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
