Mallory Dwinal-Palisch

Mallory Dwinal-Palisch is co-founder and CEO of Oxford Day Academy (ODA) and co-founder and CEO of Oxford Teachers Academy. ODA adapts the Oxford tutorial method to the public school setting as a means of providing students from underserved backgrounds with access to a rigorous, deeper learning school experience. Recently, Ms. Dwinal-Palisch’s team launched Oxford Teachers Academy (OTA), a separate nonprofit university that allows residents of underserved rural communities to earn bachelor’s degrees and teaching credentials while completing paid apprenticeships in their local public school. Ms. Dwinal-Palisch was a 2011 Teach For America corps member, serving as a high school Spanish teacher in Washington, D.C. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University, a master’s degree from Harvard Business School, and a doctorate from Oxford University.
