Joseph Webb

Joseph Webb is founding principal of Washington Leadership Academy. Prior to this, he served as principal support of KIPP D.C., and assistant principal of Rogers-Herr Middle School in Durham, North Carolina. He taught middle school science at Maureen Joy Charter School in Durham, where he served as manager of blended and online learning. He also served as a development and intellectual strategist for the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University. He has six years teaching experience and is a former Teach For America corps member. Mr. Webb has a B.S. from St. Lawrence University and an M.Ed. from the University of North Carolina.
