Joe Goldman is president of the Democracy Fund, a bipartisan foundation. He also serves as president of Democracy Fund Voice, previously Democracy Fund Action. Previously, Mr. Goldman was an investment director at Omidyar Network and vice president of citizen engagement at AmericaSpeaks. He also managed Mayor Anthony Williams’ Neighborhood Action initiative in Washington, D.C. and managed the Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission’s Common Ground regional planning process in Chicago. Mr. Goldman was a public service fellow at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Vassar College and a master’s degree from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
