J. Roberto Gutiérrez

J. Roberto Gutiérrez is founder and president of Latino Educational Equity Partnerships. He is also a writer and independent filmmaker. Most recently, Mr. Gutiérrez served as chief advancement officer for Great Hearts America. Previously, he served as senior vice president of communications and public affairs for Edison Schools, a pioneering education company located in New York and senior vice president for public affairs and communications at the University of Notre Dame. Before that, he co-founded and led Hispanic Telecommunications Network as CEO and executive producer. Mr. Gutiérrez was awarded an honorary Doctor of Law from the University of Notre Dame. Mr. Gutiérrez a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas and has advanced studies from St. Mary’s University and Oblate School of Theology.
