Irshad Manji is founder of the Moral Courage Academy, which equips educators, executives, and entrepreneurs to do the right thing when faced with their fears—particularly in the fractious space of diversity and inclusion. She is author of Don’t Label Me: An Incredible Conversation for Divided Times, in which she illustrates what has gone wrong in the practice of diversity and how it can be made right. As a “lesbian of color,” she brings an authenticity to this charged topic that few others can. Ms. Manji is also an award-winning scholar of leadership who taught at New York University and the University of Southern California for almost a decade. She teaches honest diversity, which holds that different viewpoints, not complexions, are the key metric of pluralism. Ms. Manji is also the author of The Trouble with Islam Today and Allah, Liberty & Love.
