Harvin Moore

Harvin Moore is a principal of Frontera Technology Ventures. Throughout his career, he has served in executive and advisory roles for technology companies and as director for several for-profit, nonprofit, and governmental organizations. Mr. Moore’s career began in banking as a national bank examiner for the U.S. Department of the Treasury and a Houston-based merchant banking and business advisory firm. He later joined Space Services Holdings, serving in several roles, including as COO. Throughout his career, Mr. Moore has been deeply involved in K-12 education and has served as a director for Teach For America and a founding director of KIPP charter school. Mr. Moore was named runner-up for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2000. From 2003 to 2017, he served as a board member to the Board of Education of Houston Independent School District. He currently serves on boards including KIPP Houston, TXRX Labs, and the Powell Foundation. Mr. Moore earned a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and a master’s degree from New York University.
