Una Osili is associate dean for research and international programs at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. She is a consultant for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and has worked for the World Bank. Ms. Osili was appointed as a fellow for the Institute of Labor in Bonn, Germany. She has served on advisory groups including the African Development Bank, Social Science Research Council, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, and the United Nations Development Program. Ms. Osili leads the research for the Giving USA Annual Report on Philanthropy, the Index of Global Philanthropy and Remittances, and the Index of Philanthropic Freedom. She was recognized as a “Forty Under 40” and received a Women of Influence Award from the Indianapolis Business Journal and was named a Plan 2020 Fellow in Indianapolis. Ms. Osili serves on the board of trustees of St. Richard’s School. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and a master’s degree and doctorate from Northwestern University.
