Heather Templeton Dill
Heather Templeton Dill is president of the John Templeton Foundation. Ms. Dill served as a trustee of the foundation from 1997 to 2003 and 2009 to 2015 and has been a member of the foundation’s executive, finance, and strategic planning committees. She first joined the foundation staff as executive liaison to the president in 2014 and succeeded her father, the late Dr. Jack Templeton, as president of the foundation upon his passing in 2015. Prior to joining the foundation staff, Ms. Dill taught high school history, government, and economics in Pennsylvania. While living in Charlottesville, Virginia, she taught homeschool and was a manuscript editor and research assistant at the University of Virginia. Ms. Dill is currently a board member of First Trust Bank and previously served on the Templeton Religion Trust steering committee and the Templeton World Charity Foundation board. She is also on the board of The Philanthropy Roundtable and on the advisory committee for the Lepage Center for History in the Public Interest. Ms. Dill earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame, and a master’s degree from Villanova University.
