Kevin Wang is founder of Microsoft Philanthropies TEALS, a program that helps high schools build and grow successful, sustainable, and diverse computer science (CS) programs through team teaching with classroom teachers and tech industry volunteers. Today, TEALS is partnered with over 100 rural schools across the country to provide access to computer science classes. Mr. Wang is a former high school computer science teacher, a member of the MIT Teacher Education Program team, and a teaching fellow for Harvard CS 1. Previously, he was a fellow at Lockheed Martin and Toyota and a Microsoft Office 365 engineer. Mr. Wang earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a master’s degree from Harvard University.
