Coming Soon: White Paper on Philanthropy and Mental Health
Roundtable members have begun receiving proposals from every sphere of life asking for funding for more mental health programming—in schools, workplaces, and church-based ministries. Proposals to help local communities are increasingly focused on addiction and suicide across every demographic group. Roundtable members have also expressed concern that mental health philanthropy is itself fragmented, siloed, and reactive. The mental health white paper profiles some of the more thoughtful approaches philanthropists are taking to address the nation's mental health crisis, drawing from document review, site visits, and interviews with grantees and philanthropists.
