Transforming the Teaching Profession by Fostering Community Among Teachers
The Association of American Educators (AAE) is the nation’s largest non-union organization for professional educators. AAE advances the teaching profession through a modern approach to educational advocacy and teacher representation. It also promotes collaboration, excellence and professionalism without a politically partisan agenda.
AAE’s vision is to make the teaching profession “student-oriented, well-respected and personally fulfilling.” The organization provides professional benefits and services to educators, including liability insurance, scholarships and grants and professional resources.
AAE awards tens of thousands in scholarships and grants each year to educators throughout the country to support classroom projects and professional development. Awards are highly competitive and open to all educators, regardless of location. Additionally, the association publishes a monthly newsletter, Education Matters, to keep its members up-to-date on grants and scholarships.
