Philanthropy Roundtable seeks a Senior Director of Strategic Engagement to grow relationships with our most generous investors and prospective donors. They will contribute to the Roundtable’s growth in three key areas: (1) cultivate relationships with donors and prospects that result in five- and six-figure gifts; (2) apply their experience, creativity, and knowledge of our donor network to guide strategy and drive revenue growth; and (3) increase our internal understanding of donors’ and prospects’ priorities to maximize the value and effectiveness of the Roundtable’s world-class events, programs, services, and communications. In addition to demonstrated success in major-gift fundraising and development strategy, the successful candidate must exhibit strong interpersonal skills, intellectual acumen, emotional intelligence, and integrity and excel at communication and collaboration. They will have at least an undergraduate degree, five to ten years of proven results securing major gifts, and an understanding of our donor network and the liberty movement more broadly.

The Senior Director of Strategic Engagement reports to the Vice President of Development.

The Senior Director of Strategic Engagement will work from the Roundtable’s Washington, D.C. office or from a virtual office elsewhere in the country with quarterly travel to our nation’s capital.
