The American Federation for Children is a nonprofit organization that believes parents should have a wide range of high-quality schools or educational options to choose from – be it traditional public schools, public charter schools, private schools or virtual learning.
To carry out its mission of advancing educational freedom and choice, the organization focuses on educating the public, training school choice advocates and engaging supporters to take action. Its work at the state level has identified and recruited over 700,000 school choice supporters across the country.
AFC also creates materials to showcase the progress of the school choice movement and its accomplishments throughout the year in specific target areas.
