Matt Warner

Chief Operating Officer

Matt Warner is chief operating officer at Philanthropy Roundtable. Prior to joining the Roundtable, Matt was president of Atlas Network, a U.S.-based grantmaking organization with a mission to support local nonprofits committed to the free society in more than 100 countries.

He is co-author of “Development with Dignity: Self-determination, Localization, and the End to Poverty” (Routledge, 2022) and has written for Foreign Policy, The Hill, Forbes and Cato Journal, among others.

Matt has a master’s degree in economics from George Mason University and is certified by Georgetown University in organizational development. He served as a Penn Kemble fellow for the National Endowment for Democracy (2019-2020) and currently serves on the board of directors for America’s Future.
