Megan Schmidt is program manager of the Alliance for Charitable Excellence (ACE), a project of The Philanthropy Roundtable. ACE champions the philanthropic freedom that allows our nation’s charitable sector to thrive—within the philanthropic community, and in statehouses across America.
Prior to joining the Roundtable, Megan served as state affairs manager at the Foundation for Government Accountability. She previously worked for former Kansas Governor Sam Brownback for seven years in the Office of Boards and Commissions.
Megan earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Kansas State University.
