WASHINGTON – March 23, 2026 – Philanthropy Roundtable, in partnership with the DeVos Family Foundation, announced the launch of the DeVos Family Prize for Leadership in Giving. The new award honors living philanthropists whose charitable leadership exemplifies impact, innovation and giving that inspires others to unlock new approaches to solving major challenges.
The prize celebrates values that strengthen society and improve lives, including personal responsibility, stewardship, family, discovery, generosity and equipping people to reach their fullest potential. The inaugural recipient, selected this year, will receive a $100,000 award to donate to a charitable organization of their choice.

The DeVos Family Prize is the successor to the Simon-DeVos Prize for Philanthropic Leadership, awarded to living philanthropists who have shown exemplary leadership through their own charitable giving. That prize was awarded by the DeVos Family Foundation and Philanthropy Roundtable in partnership with the William E. Simon Foundation, which sunsetted in 2023.

Nominations for the DeVos Family Prize are accepted year-round. The 2026 submission deadline is March 25, 2026. A selection committee will review the nominations, and the winner will be announced in September.
