Alaina Moore‑Sobel is the director of events at Philanthropy Roundtable, bringing a dynamic background in wedding planning, university events and K–12 student programming to her role.
In her current position, Alaina oversees the planning and execution of the Roundtable’s events with a meticulous eye for detail. She partners closely with her colleagues on the Events team to design meaningful, high‑impact experiences that serve donors, speakers and guests alike.
Originally from Maryland, Alaina developed an early connection to Washington, D.C. through frequent visits to the city and a growing interest in making a positive impact within its communities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in event management from High Point University and is delighted to be back in D.C., supporting the mission of Philanthropy Roundtable through thoughtfully executed events.
