Stephen Allison

Program Director, Pathways to Opportunity

Stephen Allison is a program director at Philanthropy Roundtable and joined the organization in April 2024. Prior to joining the Roundtable, Stephen served as a state director for Americans for Prosperity and as director of free speech and peace at Stand Together.

In Stephen’s current role, he helps build relationships with key thought leaders, nonprofit leaders, development professionals and donors interested in K-12 education, higher education, career pathways and workforce development initiatives.

Before his work in the nonprofit world, Stephen was a practicing attorney for more than 20 years and served as a state representative in the Georgia General Assembly from 2009 to 2017. During his tenure in public office, he was the chief deputy whip as well as a committee chairman.

Stephen graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a Bachelor of Arts in history, and he has a Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School.
